Working of Reverse Osmosis System :
Reverse Osmosis uses a high-pressure pump to raise salt pressures and push the water over the half-permeable RO membrane, leaving almost all (around 95% to 99%) of the dissolved salts in the reject stream. The pressure needed depends on the level of salt in the feed water. When the feedwater is condensed, more osmotic pressure is needed.
